Growing up I lived in pretty crappy areas of the United States, in ghettos, slums and graduate housing. When I got married it was the first time I had ever lived in my own house, when we moved to our newest home 2 years ago, I felt like I was finally able to set down roots. I am thankful for my husband and all he does to give me and our children a stable, loving home. I am thankful for our home, where my kids can go outside and play and feel safe. I am thankful that ,this child of the projects, could give something better for her children and future generations. I am thankful for the mess, the projects that we have in mind and never ending weeds, because this is MY home.

Go get them ladies!
Okay. Third time's a charm right? The first two comments my computer ate. So now you get a nice short, bravo! Your kids are lucky to have such a "mean" mama to provide them with all that love!
